Celebrate Juneteenth with Everybody Eats

In honor of Juneteenth, Local 328’s DEI committee and the OHSU Black Employee Resource Group are partnering to feed OHSU’s Black employees. Employees, plus up to three family members or friends, may pick up a free meal from Everybody Eats, a Black-owned restaurant in downtown Portland, during the weekend of Juneteenth (on either June 18 or June 19). Employees will be required to show their OHSU ID at the restaurant. More details about the event will be provided closer to the date.

In order to get a final headcount to the restaurant, we need members to reserve their spot by Tuesday, June 7, at 3 p.m.

Black members of Local 328 who are interested in attending should email diversity@local328.org with the following information:

  1. How many people will be in your party

  2. Which date you will be coming

  3. How many people in your group will need a vegetarian or vegan option (see menus below)

  4. Whether you plan to eat at the restaurant or take your food to go

If you are a BERG member and already responded to their announcement, you don’t need to reserve again.
