While a strike authorization doesn’t mean a strike will be called, it’s good for our members to be prepared for the possibility of one.

GRU has just ratified a contract that addresses our graduate researchers’ primary concern: a higher stipend that more closely aligns with Portland’s ever-increasing cost of living.

First off, thank you to the members who voted in our 2023 Board Elections. Taking part in your union democracy is one of the most important things a member can do. Secondly thanks to our candidates who put themselves out there and were willing to take on the big responsibilities that these offices hold.
