Hello Local 328, Arrison Warner, your community liaison here, asking you to join our Teamsters siblings and others in the labor community in attending Solidarity Canvasses hosted by the Oregon Strike-Ready Coalition.

“Join the Oregon Strike-Ready Coalition knocking doors (homes and businesses) Sunday, July 16, 6-8pm Saturday, July 22, 10am-Noon Sunday, July 23, Noon-2pm We’ll have Solidarity Pledges for residents to sign, posters for bulletin boards and windows, and yard signs. We’ll be canvassing homes on busy streets (visibility for yard signs) and businesses with high foot traffic (window sign visibility) We’ll meet up at various places in N, NE, and SE Portland, get training, materials and a partner. Fill out your availability and preferences. We want to make visible the widespread community solidarity with UPS Teamsters, bring more folks into activity, and increase pressure on UPS to settle a transformative contract. UPS Teamsters are Strike Ready – Sign-up for Solidarity Canvass
Over 340,000 UPS Teamsters are gearing up to fight for better pay and treatment when their contract expires on July 31st. The company has walked away from the table after marathon bargaining. The Teamsters are ready to launch the largest single-employer strike in U.S. history. A UPS Teamster victory will be a giant boost for everyone who works for wages and wants better working conditions.
