Our 2022 - 2025 Contract Has Been Ratified!
Our ratification vote officially closed at 5:00 p.m. today and we’re pleased to report that our 2022 – 2025 contract has been ratified with 90.7% of the vote! This vote had our second-highest turnout ever, and a majority of our members back the contract.
No matter how you voted, staying engaged with our union is the best way to make your voice heard, build union strength and negotiate an even stronger contract in 2025. We currently have a few executive-board vacancies, and in the coming weeks we’ll be also be recruiting for members to participate in new and existing committees to help improve our workplace — our monthly email that’ll go out in a few days will have additional information.
Now that the contract has been ratified, we’ll be preparing educational handouts about the great language in our contract and how to use it, arranging for key articles to be translated and working on other tasks to wrap up this bargaining season. We’ll also be scheduling a post-ratification Zoom forum or two to answer questions — stay tuned for details.
Since there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes formatting and other work involved, it’ll probably take a couple of weeks before the final copy of the contract is ready for distribution and posting. In the meantime, you can refer to the annotated version of the TA.
Thank you all so much for your support, feedback and continued engagement during this long bargaining season!
