Every employee represented by AFSCME Local 328 receives the same benefits and protections under our contract, but some coworkers face systemic challenges at OHSU and within our union that we don’t all face. In order to improve our union’s accessibility to our Black, Indigenous and other members of color, we are holding regular BIPOC office hours.

Why Are We Waiting?

Our union has been bargaining with OHSU for more than two months. We have our first mediation session in 12 days. Our contract expires in 49 days. And OHSU hasn’t responded at all to 61 of our proposals, including those that are most important to our members.
