Convention Delegation Announcement

Ed. Note: The following delegates were elected to represent our membership at the upcoming AFSCME convention: Mark Chapman, Trisha Crabb, Sarah Curtis, Theresia Lloyd-Siemer, Eric Muehter, Christine Murray and Tracy Sailer-Curtis. Our president, Michael Stewart, is an automatic delegate.

Every two years, AFSCME members from across the country gather to chart our union's path forward. This year, these delegates will gather in Philadelphia for AFSCME’s 45th International Convention from July 11 - 15 to debate and vote on issues, receive advanced union training and prioritize our international union’s focus. Local 328 sends a delegation to this convention, with one of the largest single voting blocs in the country, representing roughly 5,500 members.

Our union’s members will be represented at the convention by eight delegates. One of those delegates, Michael Stewart is an automatic delegate due to his role as Local 328 president. The remaining delegates are chosen by our members. This year we have nine members running for the remaining seven seats in the delegation. The candidates are:

  • Mark Chapman, Facilities Technician

  • Trisha Crabb, System/Application Analyst

  • Sarah Curtis, PAS Resource Specialist

  • Theresia Lloyd-Siemer, Health Unit Coordinator

  • Tabatha Millican, Finance and Accounting Analyst 2

  • Eric Muehter, IT Field Technology Analyst

  • Christine Murray, Senior System Application Analyst

  • Tracy Sailer-Curtis, Patient Account Representative

  • Shawna Winter, Medical Assistant 2

Candidate statements (unedited, in the order received) can be viewed here. Voting is open from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, through 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1. Dues-paying members may cast their vote here.
