Rally to Defend Democracy Nov. 4
The AFSCME Local 328 executive board has endorsed the Wednesday, November 4, Defend Democracy Coalition march and rally. The event is part of a national movement of non-violent mass-mobilization events to ensure that every vote is counted in the 2020 election.
The event will start at 3:00 p.m. at Revolution Hall, 1300 SE Stark St., Portland. The march will begin at 4:00 p.m, with a planned rally on the Waterfront at 5:00 p.m. The event should last no later than 7:00 p.m.
Local 328 will gather with the labor contingency at the Revolution Hall (look for AFSCME green and signs). Masks are required and we ask that folks respect social distancing as much as possible. Our union will provide N95 masks if you need one.
