Hospital Staffing Standards Now

As most of us are aware, the pandemic left hospital staff stretched to the limit and exacerbated existing staffing shortages at many health-care systems, including at OHSU.

Legislation (HB 2697) has been introduced to create standards for staff-to-patient ratios in Oregon and enforce penalties for health-care systems that don’t comply. You can help move HB 2697 along by sharing your staffing stories with lawmakers.
