Hop Card Name Updates

Hello Friends,

We want to ensure that everyone is aware of a recent update regarding the use of TriMet Hop Cards at OHSU.

We have clarified with both TriMet and OHSU and have confirmed that employees are able to make changes to their names on our OHSU subsidized hop cards. 

For those who need to update their Hop Card to reflect a chosen name change, please be advised that there is no charge for a new card. You can request a new card by contacting Commute Services at commute@ohsu.edu or by visiting one of the customer service centers. Your OHSU employee ID counts as a form of ID for TriMet, and you can use your chosen name on your Hop Card if it matches the name on your employee ID. You will need to carry your OHSU ID whenever you use the card.
