Getting involved in the electoral process is so important as we face many anti-worker and far-right candidates in the upcoming election.

Voting: The last day to register to vote in Oregon is Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 11:59 p.m.; if you’re not registered, you can do so here. The last day to register online in Washington is Monday, Oct. 31; to register, click here.

The Oregon AFSCME Council 75 political-action committee interviewed political candidates throughout 2022; the PAC’s endorsements can be found here. Oregon AFSCME’s legislative scorecard can be viewed here — check it out to see how your representative or senator has voted on important labor-related bills. (Endorsements from AFSCME Council 28 (Washington) can be found here.)

Phone Banking: If you’d like to get a little more involved, you can help us make calls to members from the comfort of your home using Council 75’s dialer system. Upcoming sessions are:

  • Monday, Oct. 17, 5:30 – 8 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 18, 5:30 – 8 p.m.
