Food Resources Available for OHSU Employees
Food resources are now available for OHSU employees through the new Employee Food Resource Program. Sometimes life throws us unexpected challenges — this program is intended to help make sure food doesn’t have to be another worry.
Employees can request an emergency food box for themselves or on behalf of another OHSU employee. The supply of donations is constantly changing, so the availability of specific items can’t be guaranteed, but the program will do its best to fulfill requests for allergies and dietary preferences.
Request a food bag here. Food bags can be picked up at the HR office in the Physical Plant Building (3310 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd) on OHSU’s main campus, between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Fridays.
As a new program, the Employee Food Resource Program is piloting services and invites ideas for how it can best create meaningful support for employees across all departments and locations. Feel free to reach out to the program manager, Kaely Summers, to ask questions and provide feedback.
Please download and share the program flyer. (Flyers translated into seven other languages can be downloaded here.)
