Bargaining Update: March 22

You may have noticed that OHSU’s bargaining update last week reported that the teams would not meet for collective bargaining this week due to spring break. While the two teams didn’t meet for negotiations today, our union’s team still kept busy, using the time as a work day instead.

We spent the day strategizing, finalizing proposals and preparing for tomorrow’s bargaining forum. The language is written for almost all of our proposals. The following schedule is subject to change, but we wanted our members to have a rough idea of our timeline going forward:

• March 29: Miscellaneous proposals

• April 5: Economic proposals

• April 12: Diversity/equity/inclusion proposals

• April 19: Additional economic proposals; steward-program proposals

• April  26: Miscellaneous proposals (last day for new proposals)

Throughout this time we’ll also be presenting our responses to various OHSU proposals.
