2025 OR AFSCME Convention - Nominations Open

Nominations are now open for our upcoming election. The OR AFSCME governing convention takes place in Bend Oregon starting Friday May 2, 2025 - Sunday May 4th, 2025.

Nominations close Tuesday February 25, 2025

There will be 17 total delegates, the local elects 16 and we automatically send our President.

Convention convenes Friday May 2, 2025 @ 6 PM and will end Sunday May 4, 2025, in the early afternoon (generally by 1 pm)

Delegates will be responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Bend.

The local will cover and arrange the following:

·         Registration and Convention official dinner ($225.00)

·         Lodging for 2 nights (TBD - maximum rate for both nights $360.00)

·         Meal per diem – 2 days ( $172.00)

·         Delegate payroll as needed (lost time)

The Local 328 Elections committee will be communicating the procedural rules for both candidate campaigning and the election for all members in the next 2 weeks. There will be targeted candidate outreach offered in multiple formats after the close of nominations.
