    Tuition Reimbursement Program
    Jul 22, 2015

    Education Reimbursement

Because you are AFSCME represented employees and have a Union contract, your contract guarantees access to our tuition reimbursement program administered through the AFSCME/OHSU Career and Workplace Enhancement Center.

    • All AFSCME-represented employees working 18.5 or more hours per 80-hour pay period are eligible for reimbursement of up to $300 per quarter for qualified professional-development expenses.
    • Funds are distributed on a quarterly basis, subject to approval, based upon the number of applicants and funds available. Due to this, applicants may not receive 100 percent of their reimbursement request.
    • The program reimburses employees' out-of-pocket expenses that are documented by a receipt of payment and proof of successful completion (i.e. final grade of "C" or above for classes, or certificate of completion for conferences, seminars, and workshops).
